SunSeal Sunscreen SPF 50+ 100ml

SunSeal by Microskin 100ml is an Australian-made sunscreen that creates a virtually invisible and long-lasting sunscreen layer that acts like a second skin. It can be used on bare skin and, unlike most sunscreens that must be used as top layer to work, it can be used UNDER the make-up. 

When SunSeal™ is applied to the skin, the Microskin™ component creates a protective film that acts just like your natural skin. This film is flexible, breathable and allows you to sweat freely through the film rather than underneath it.

The Microskin™ within SunSeal™ adheres to the skin and suspends the active UVA/UVB blockers. This allows SunSeal to to deliver light-weight, SPF 50+ and water-resistant sun protection that stays in place and won’t run into your eyes.

When the delivery agent of the Microskin™ film evaporates it leaves a water-resistant film on the surface of the skin.

After the evaporation phase, the cellulosic and oil components in the Microskin™ film migrate towards the skins surface and partially enter the stratum corneum layer of the skin (the outermost layer of the skin).

This assists in binding the now dried Microskin film to the surface layer of the skin and provides exceptional elasticity to the Microskin™ film. As Microskin™ is formulated on more Lipophilic (Oil based) ingredients these components have a difficult job continuing deeper than the Corneum layer due to the lower epidermal layer having a higher water concentration and therefore considered more Lipophobic (Oil resistant).

As we all know water and oil do not mix. This helps keep the microskin and any suspended ingredients from being fully absorbed into the skin.
